Palm trees are not that great!! Palmetto bugs love them and fly at your head during mating season. Have you ever seen a palmetto bug? They are huge and they crunch when you step on them.
Snow and cold keeps the bugs down and also keeps the germs at bay. Heat just breeds things. Some heat breeds good things, but that's another topic.
Imagine palm trees at Christmas. There is nothing as pathetic as a decorated palm tree.
Sunsets are just as beautiful in New England, so forget about the tropics.
Seasons rule!!
