Let me spare you the PAIN!

Inside Man - Denzel Washington, Spike Lee Joint, Christopher Plummer, and of course Jodie Foster. Should be good, huh? Yeah - not so much! This movie was PAINFUL. You know how I am about editing - well the editing was horrible. Spilled cups with nothing in them. Jodie's hair was pulled back tight in a low pony tail which is the new/old thing. People with long hair should wear it this way. If only I had the right hair without putting in extensions. Sissy and Masso can wear this. Anyway, Jodie's hair was pulled back in a band that looked like, and could have been, hair in one shot and then a thick band/hair thing in another and all disheveled which wasn't her character. She was a strong woman, a "magnificent C" as she was called by one character, and her legs are hot. But did she have work done? She seems pretty tight all of a sudden and looks just like she did in Little Darlin's (or was that tatum oneal) or Freaky Friday. The movie was like many Spike movies in that there was some race issues, odd angles, lots of city shots, some comedy, all strong personalities, but he didn't go overboard. There was diversity, even a gay boy couple and a lesbian. The music was overpowering and bizare for the movie. They should have asked me to co-star because the acting by the subcharacters was just horrendous. The movie was too long and painful and when I wanted it to end, it did not.

The alleged twists of the movie were easily decipherable by anyone in the audience. ANYONE! There was no mystery at all. And, come on, like we couldn't see Mr. high and mighty Captain Von Trapp, selling out in this movie. There were some great homages to other movies: cotton club, silence of the lambs, every hostage movie ever, serpico, and a nice subtle dig at our fearless bumbling leader, W.

Anyway, save the cash and catch Jodie's legs on Leno or Inside the Actors studio.

The great part of the evening was my rich and creamy (yes I ordered it just like that) from AC Petersens. THE BOMB! Sister could make a shake. MMMMMM!!!!
